One designer who recognises this more than most is Giles Deacon. He’s designed a line of bags for Mulberry, created a blackberry case with Carphone Warehouse, collaborated with Tanqueray No. Ten gin to create a luxury martini case, designed a pair of Chuck Taylors for Converse (RED) and currently designs a regular collection for New Look.

Adding to his long list of partnerships, Deacon is collaborating with Evoke to create his first ever jewellery collection using CRYSTALLIZED?- Swarovski Elements, aptly called Giles for Evoke.

The range is due to hit stores such as H Samuels and Selfridges in September and prices range from ?5 - ?00. Judging by what we’re seen so far the collection looks set to be a hit.
